Our Core Beliefs
The Bible: We Believe that the Bible is the infallible and inspired word of God. (2 Tim. 3:16) (2 Pt. 1:19-21)
God the Father: We Believe that God the Father is the Eternal Spirit Being, the Creator of all things. He is all-powerful, all knowing, and unchanging. (Mal. 3:6) (1 Jn. 4:8-10) (Is. 43:10) (Is. 44:6)
Jesus Christ: We Believe that Jesus Christ has existed forever as God, and that with the Father and the Holy Spirit, is the Triune God… co-eternal and co-identical. (Col. 1:15-16) (Col. 2:9) (Jn. 1:1) (Heb 1:8) (Deut. 6:4)
Sin: We Believe that man is by nature sinful and separated from God. This problem can only be solved by God’s loving intervention. (Eph. 2:1-5) (Rom. 3:23) (Col. 1:21-22) (Is. 59:2)
The Cross: We Believe in the absolute necessity of the death and shed blood of Christ… on the cross… in our place, to pay the just penalty for our sin. (Eph. 1:7) (I Pt. 1:18-19) (Rom 3:24-25) (Rom. 5:8-9)
Eternal Life: We Believe that a person can obtain Eternal Life on the basis of FAITH ALONE in Christ’s death in our place. It is only received as a gift and cannot be earned. (Eph. 2:8-9) (Titus 3:5) (Rom. 4:1-5) (Rom. 10:9-10)
Living for Christ: We Believe that every believer should seek to reflect Christ in their lives and glorify Him in their thoughts, attitudes and actions. (I Jn. 5:18-19) (Eph. 2:10)
